Cups are parts for lamps, lighting fixtures, or candelabras that hold or cover the base of a light source. When present on a fixture that uses electric lighting, cups hide sockets as well as the bases of light bulbs adding a finished look to the standard Porcelain and Phenolic Lamp Sockets. When used with a lamp socket Cups give the appearance of Wax Candles. Cups can be used as candle stick and shade holders for candelabras.
